Prayer Lesson #3 The Battle – Part 2
by ejgraceman on Mar.28, 2008, under Prayer Lessons
We are in a Holy War ( Not a flesh and blood war ) but one in the spirit realm….Invisible but real. Like the wind…cannot see the wind but you can see it’s effects. ( Eph. 6:10-19 )
Note : Once we are spiritually armed we must “Pray Always “…Prayer puts the counter pressure on Satan as he tries to crush us. Jesus himself said to Peter…”Satan has desired to have you that he may sift you like wheat. ” Now you understand why you have been under such visious spiritual attack in mind, body, relationships, economics etc. Satan wants you ” to take a hit and say I quit ” I simply think of Jesus ( ref: Passion of the Christ ) and see him as such a courageous warrior, fighting the battle for you and me and therefore I cannot quit. One day I simply want my warrior friend, Jesus ( Captain of my Salvation )
to place his nail scarred hand on my shoulder and I want him to say “Well done my good and faithful servant” I know I have not always been good or faithful as I should but that is my heart of hearts. So as we learn to pray as a Worshiping Warrior we must realize that
we are in a Holy War ( spiritually speaking ) and as you enter this “zone” and come out of the stands …the blood, sweat and tears are real. He wants you “out of the “game” and he fights dirty.
From Lesson #1 Bless the Lord
From Lesson #2 Binding the Devil & Demons via Prayer to LOOSING ( can carry the idea of deliverance through prayer or as we’ll learn..To Unleash our Spiritual Army in Assault against Satan, Adversary and Arch enemy.
Get ready…this kind of prayer is not for the fainthearted or spiritual sissies ( only concerned as when the next church supper or rummage sale will be. ) Oh yeah..Satan really fears Potato Salad and Yard Sales….
Satan doesn’t fear Playing Church …He fears a Praying Church.
Bless the Lord #1 , Bind the Enemy #2, Unleash the Army #3
DO YOU HAVE TRIPLE A ? ( AAA)
- Pray that the Almighty would be loosed ? ( Over all your situations, stresses etc.)
- Pray that the Angels ( Majestic, Ministering, Messengers ) will be loosed
- Pray that the Anointed Ones ( Other believers ) will respond to the promptings of the Spirit and come to your aid and the aid of others in the Body of Christ and those that would be heirs of Salvation.
Here ( Point # 1 ) I make a list of all my struggles, stresses, situations etc. where I need Divine intervention and I claim GOD’S Authority and Attributes over them using God’s many names…..Not Plural gods but His characteristics and conduct….
List struggles, stresses, situations……then…..Ask God to be Loosed/Unleashed over all your “stuff” ( also ask for Angelic and Anointed Ones assistance…..)
I use God’s many names for this…..Print and save this list if you can….OK ?
Almighty, Adonai, El Shaddai, Elohim, El Elyon – Preeminent and Powerful Lord
Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace -Perfect
Lord Jesus Christ – Precious and Powerful
Alpha and Omega, Jehovah Jireh – Provider
Lord of Hosts ( Sabaoth ), Jehovah Nissi – Protector
Jehovah Rohi – Powerful Shepherd of Psalm 23
Jehovah Rapha – Physician ( Lord who heals )
Jehovah Shalom – Peace Bringing Lord
Lion of Judah – Praise of our Lives
Jehovah Shammah – Present Lord
Jehovah Tsidkenu, Jehovah M’kaddesh – Purifier of My Heart
( Use these names for God for each of your situations and ask that THIS ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD BE UNLEASHED UPON THE SITUATIONS BROUGHT BEFORE HIM.
When I began to learn to Pray this way I began to live in a dimension for DAILY MIRACLES….. ( In January of this year Satan tried to take my daughter and wife’s life through pneumonia and Sepsis……on daughter a Code Blue situation…..Prayer brought them through )
I am taking the time to write these things for more than your intellect’s sake but in these Last Days we will need a God bigger than our situations to intervene for us….I Love ya.
May God Bless You. Be Bold, Be Strong, Be Courageous.

Prayer Lesson #2 The Battle
by ejgraceman on Mar.27, 2008, under Prayer Lessons
In lesson #1 on prayer we learned to get our focus on the God we love and serve. We get into stress and distress when we focus on ourselves and our situations. When David was about to slay Goliath he did not compare Goliath with his strengths he compared Goliath with the Greatness of David’s God. When we view our problems etc. we need to compare them to our Miracle working and mighty God. They will then seem small.
We begin with Blessing God ( refer to lesson #1 )
Now we get into the Battle. We learn in Eph. 6:10-12 to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We also learn that our battle is not with flesh and blood but in the invisible spirit realm. We are in conflict daily with Satan and evil spirits seeking to mess
up our lives and rob us of the JOY of the Lord which is our strength…. Neh. 8
In Matthew 16: 18-20 We begin with the declaration that the gates ( authorities ) of hell
will not prevail against the people of God. I was reading Daniel 10-12 tonight and you will see a prime example of last days spiritual warfare revealed to us. Daniel receives revelations regarding the Last Days. For the past year or so I have experienced deep emotions like mournings and groanings regarding the spiritual conditions of our day . I believe the Spirit warns His remnant how really close we are to the coming of the Lord.
In Joel we are taught of the last days times and the call to return to the Person of the Lord, Penitent hearts and Passionate Prayer. We have been so focused on this crumbling material world that we have forgotten the Powerful spiritual world around us. We are reminded that the evil spirits will intensify but the Lord will in the Last Days pour out His Spirit and we will dream dreams and have visions. I cannot tell you how many nights in the last few months I have been awakened by the Holy Spirit and called to intercessory prayer. We cannot face these days when men’s hearts will fail them for fear without being prepared spiritually.
Our next prayer point is found in Matthew 16:19-20 ” whatever is bound on earth is bound in heaven and whatever is loosed on earth will be loosed in heaven. ”
After ( lesson #1 Blessing the Lord ) I pray that the LORD himself will bind Satan ( the strong man ) and bind the demonic spirits that are attacking our minds, souls, bodies, families, marriages, governments ( See Daniel 10 )
When Daniel had visions of the Last days he lost strength and felt crushed within. He would pray and God would send angels and strengthen him . Angels will come in answer to our prayers ( they minister, bring messages and are majestic and mighty in battle ) In Acts 12 the church prayed for Peter in prison and God sent an angel to deliver Peter…. Haven’t we all felt a lot of these emotions lately? If you love the Lord you will sense these things. I feel that most believers have anesthetized minds and hearts and spirits. Perhaps pray and fast for a while till you become spiritually sensitive again. Satan would have us to be desensitized and preoccupies our minds with entertaining ourselves into spiritual stupidity.
So step # 2 in Prayer….Do Battle in the spiritual realm. Ask the Lord to Bind Satan and the Demonic spirits that deceive, delude, divide and destroy….. God will answer our prayers…..
Bless the Lord in Prayer/ Bind the Enemy and evil spirits through prayer ( Matt. 16:19 )
Then , Bless the Lord for the Victory and Praise Him in advance ( NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL….WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT )
In II Chronicles 21, Jehoshaphat was surrounded by the enemy. He Prayed and God sent His Word ( The Battle Belongs to the Lord…..My old favorite Worship song and first song I ever learned on the guitar……We sing Glory, Honour, Power and Strength to the Lord. ) The people Praised the Lord and God sent Angels and Almighty God brought the Victory. Let’s stop getting beat up by the enemy and Fight Valiantly and Passionately till The Captain of our Salvation ( Jesus / See Joshua 5 b ) returns…..I want to be a Great Worshipping Warrior and want the same for you and yours cause I love ya….
I hope these lessons help and bless your life….

Prayer Lesson #1 Bless the Lord
by ejgraceman on Mar.26, 2008, under Prayer Lessons
I want to write blogs for those of you interested in a Real Relationship with God. I do not have the market cornered on the subject. It is simply what interests me and has held my life together and hopefully will bless yours. I have an entire pattern that I go through in prayer and I hope it will help you. Many have prayed the pattern of the Prayer of Jabez. I use this as a part of my daily prayers ( Found in 1 Chronicles ch. 4 )
Bless me…….Enlarge by borders/boundaries…….Place your hand upon me……Keep me from evil…….
I use this but have learned the best way to begin prayer is by Blessing Him…for all of his
“God-ness, Goodness and incredible Grace…..
I also began a habit of taking notebooks and daily making a page of things that I am thankful for and praise the Lord for. This develops a heart of gratitude as you stop and reflect at the daily blessings of God. It may begin with Praise for a good night’s sleep, a good cup of coffee, a roof over your head. Often we think that we have it so bad. If we think of the pain and poverty that most of the world lives in you will realize we live like kings. Let’s always be thankful and praise the Lord for everything that he is, does and provides for us. In the good economic times you might have thanked him for a nice Prime Rib…Now you may thank Him for Rice and Beans…..
So for step one in your prayer life….get a notebook and write all the things you are thankful for and praise God for and then BLESS the Lord for those things. Pray for those without the things that you and I take for granted. We may be in for some really difficult times as the word “recession” looms over the hearts and minds of Americans. If we will focus on the Spiritual Blessings ( as Paul did in Ephesians Ch. 1….He Blessed the Lord for all of the Spiritual Blessings ) Paul learned to walk in Joy even though at the writing of Ephesians 1 he found himself in prison…..
I do not know your present circumstances but you can walk in JOY if you focus on Blessing and Praising God….Trust me you will feel better….Psalm 37 says Delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Guess what ? When you begin spending your life pursuing the manifest presence of God all the material stuff ends up looking like a bunch of useless junk. Have you ever walked through a W….Mart and said
” How much of this junk is really unnecessary to real life and joy…..almost everything. ”
Now leave this site…get your notebook and begin Blessing God for everything…..Joy will fill your heart.
Till the next “blog”

Tough Season ( I wrote this in March and am reposting it for new readers to encourage you in these tough times….Bless You !
by ejgraceman on Mar.25, 2008, under Poems
Dedicated to all my Family, Fierce Weather Friends and Loved Ones who have loved and helped us through a really tough season. For many the season is still tough so this is for all of us on the same team….Sent with love…Well it’s been a tough season, I must admit
Lotta pain and heartache, I nearly quit
My body ached, my heart began to quiver
It was either I quit or stand and deliver
In my desperation, turned to my inspiration
In times of tears and loss, I look back to the cross
I drop to my knees and cry, Help me Jesus, please.
Then I stood to my feet, no longer in defeat
A voice said ” It’s your turn to bat ”
So I straightened my hat
The Pitcher fired his attack
It connected with my bat
The sound was a mighty crack
The ball began to soar
Toward the center field door
Like an eagle in the sky
The ball began to fly
In life…Some you win and some you lose
To keep the Faith, You must choose
Keep your eye on the prize
Don’t believe the Devil’s lies
Don’t quit, you’ll survive
Some you’ll lose and some you’ll win
Don’t cave in, Don’t give in to Reason
Next Year may be your Finest Season…
Our Prayer For You….

It is 11:08 our time the night before Easter. Many fuss over whether Christ was crucified on Wednesday or Friday…..Does it really matter. If you were pulled from a burning building, snatched from a turbulent sea or rescued from a mangled automobile….would the day matter ? NO….
You would be forever grateful to the one who saved you. I am so thankful Jesus rescued/delivered me. Words cannot express how empty my life would be without Faith in Him and a daily personal relationship with
the manifest presence of the Lord….If you have not received Christ…Repent of your sin and receive him as Saviour. He will fill the emptiness in your life. Also as far as Easter is concerned…people say it has pagan roots….yes and we all know there is no Easter Bunny…But who really cares…Celebrate Life, Real Life, Resurrected life….Thank God for all living things …bunnies, chicks, whatever…And take a moment to look up and thank Him for Blessing you with life as well….
Love Ya,
Graceman
( Secret encoded message to my wife and daughters…. I love all of you with all of my heart…..)
Our Great God
by ejgraceman on Mar.19, 2008, under Uncategorized
In these Last Days we are seeing the temporal nature of everything……
We buy into this materialistic culture ( Been there, done that, got the T-shirt and hat ) and then find out that stocks can plummet, real estate values can nosedive, gas prices can soar and you cannot even afford to go to the store…….But when all is said and done….all the “stuff” doesn’t matter…God matters and family matters and true friends matter. You think your kid needs
the latest “Play Station” and what they really need is to spend some time with you. I recently went with my littlest daughter to Eatza-Pizza ( kind of like Chucky-Cheese… A restaurant with a large Rodent as it’s mascot. ) We played ski-ball and to see the joy and laughter on my child’s face was “priceless”. The older I get I long to spend time with my heavenly Father, My good and gracious God. He makes me smile and is the joy of my life. I have been through loss, pain and heartache and the person and presence of God has been the anchor that has held this ship together through it all. Remember the old Ray Boltz song…The anchor holds though the ship is battered. Recently ( Jan.08 ) our oldest daughter nearly died from “Sepsis” a really deadly disease. We prayed and cried to the Lord and he answered our cries and healed her. He is Jehovah Rapha/Rophe, the Lord who heals ( Exod. 15 ) Since that day when my wife called on the cell and the sirens were in the background crying out the words…”She’s not breathing” and we cried to the Lord and he heard our cry and breath came into her….I wake every day… one thankful man. People ask me ” How are you ? ” I reply “I am fine”… my child is living. God doesn’t always answer our prayers the way we want him and sometimes people we love die and we hurt deeply. That doesn’t mean God isn’t Good or that he isn’t God. You see if God releases one of his children to Himself again it is just that he wants them to enjoy His Presence Personally. I mean that isn’t too bad. God created us for His pleasure and life is not all about what we want… it is about what he wants. Remember the bumper sticker ” He who dies with the most toys wins….LIE ! We are all experiencing a time of economic downturn. Gas prices are so high….Maybe God wants us to stay home and spend time with one another….What a novel idea…duh ?
Maybe if we all cannot afford to pay our power bills….they will turn off the power and we won’t be able to gorge ourselves on TV, Movies and Entertaining ourselves into stupidity. Maybe the kid’s Playstation won’t fire up and they will go outside and breathe in God’s fresh air and
realize the sunrises and sets….Maybe they will even learn to read and speak to their parents…How cool would that be ?
I remember having the time of my life during a three week long power outage due to a hurricane . I cooked all the food in the freezer and shared it with my two rottweilers and watched the world series on a 2.5 inch battery operated Casio TV. Talk about luxury. I sent my wife and kids to momma’s house…She still had power. I read today that homeless guys were living in luxurious foreclosed homes in California. Does God have a sense of humor or what ?
What I am trying to say today is no matter what is going on in your life you can count on our Great and Faithful God and the realizations of what is really important in life….God, Family, True Friends and a loyal dog….Hold the cats please ( more about that subject on another blog )God loves us unconditionally and desires that we be thankful
for what we do have………
Love ya…….Graceman
